It's "D" day!

Well tomorrows the big day! Day 1 of my quest to run a 5k. Ultimately I want to run much much more but for now I'll start with something I can wrap my mind around! So...here goes! Tomorrow I will be posting my (big sigh) before pictures and I hope you will all do the same. I will also be posting updated photos monthly to keep you all up to date and to keep myself motivated! I will be journaling my daily data and would love for you all to do the same! I know I could use your inspiration!   1. IT'S A FABULOUS DAY (or evening) TO BE ALIVE!!! I am so excited to take this journey with Kym! Being healthy and active has never been a strength of mine and it's made me miserable. So I'm joining the team to run for my life and turn it around! Today was step one: Nutrition. I met with my neighbor who is a mentor for Herbalife and picked up some great information for my health. Tomorrow I start the Couch to 5K training program! I am super nervous since, a)I haven't really ran since 9th grade gym class where I of course came in last place in the mile run, b)I am A LOT heavier and more out of shape than I was in 9th grade, and c)I will be in a gym where people will undoubtedly witness me fall, pass out or have a massive heart attack! But if I want to change I can't worry about the folks who won't be able to avert their poor eyes from the massage train wreck I am about to unleash! I MUST RUN FOR MY LIFE! :o)

    PS ~ I too will be posting my gruesome before photo and monthly photos there after. Don't worry my Peeps, it gonna get better! :o)
